1. Do I have to pay to get in?

All shows in the Udderbelly are ticketed. Certain productions get fully booked during peak times, so we recommend that you book in advance on the website where possible. It's free to enter the Udderbelly Festival site, however, so you can sit and enjoy a drink in the sunshine at your leisure!  

2. Is there a cloakroom?

Unfortunately we do not currently provide a cloakroom service. You’re welcome to make use of the Southbank Centre’s cloakroom, based next door in the Royal Festival Hall.

3. What time is Udderbelly Festival open from?

Udderbelly Festival opens at 12pm on weekdays, 11am at weekends, and closes at 11pm Sunday - Wednesday and midnight Thursday - Saturday, with last orders being called 20 mins prior to closing. Please note that closing times may be earlier dependant on weather. 

4. How do I get to Udderbelly Festival?

Udderbelly Festival is located on the Southbank, between Southbank Centre, Jubilee Gardens and the London Eye, just off Belvedere Road. The nearest tube stations are Waterloo and Embankment.

6. What are the box office opening times?

Until the Festival opens in April, tickets can be booked over the phone on 0844 545 8282 between 10am and 6pm, Monday - Friday. Tickets can also be bought in person from the Box Office at Southbank Centre.

Once the festival opens in April, the box office is open from 12pm on weekdays and 11am on weekends. It closes at 8pm or 15 minutes after the day’s last show, whichever is later.

7. How do I purchase a ticket?

We recommend that you buy tickets in advance from the Udderbelly Festival website, subject to availability and booking fees. For times and prices go to our What's On page.  You can also call our booking line on 0844 545 8282 or visit the Box Office at Southbank Centre.

8. Can I buy a ticket on the day at the box office?

Yes, you can buy a ticket on the day. However, we would strongly recommend that you buy your tickets online, in order to avoid long queues.

9. Can I exchange my tickets?

Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable and non-refundable.

10. How do I get my tickets?

When booking online, you can collect your tickets from the box office on the day of the performance. 

For certain advance bookings, tickets can also be sent by first class post at your own risk.

11. What should I do if I haven't received my tickets?

If you have booked tickets through the official Udderbelly Festival website but have not received or cannot print your ticket confirmation, please see a member of the box office team upon arrival where they can assist you further. Please allow extra time for assistance at the box office as queues are likely. If you bought your tickets from another outlet, please contact them directly.

12. What if there is a problem with my ticket?

13. What do you class as a concession?

We offer concessionary tickets for students, OAPs, under 16s, registered disabled, and registered unemployed. You will need to bring proof of eligibility with you when you collect your tickets.

14. Are there discounts for group bookings?

Yes. A 10% group discount is available on bookings of 10 or more tickets. You can make your group booking over the phone by calling our box office on 0844 545 8282.

15. What age do you class as a child?

Under 16. Note that children under 2 do not require a ticket as long as they can remain on your lap for the entire performance.

16. Are there age restrictions for accessing the site?

Whilst the site is suitable for children of all ages, we would suggest that children are accompanied at all times by a person of 18 years or over. After 9pm, no person under the age of 16 will be allowed in unless accompanied by a person of 18 years or over.

17. What facilities do you have for babies?

There are no changing facilities at Udderbelly Festival, so please use the facilities at Southbank Centre. Buggies can be can be left with front of house staff, but at the owner's own risk.

18. What do you offer to groups and schools?

A 10% group discount is available to groups of 10 people or more. You can make your group booking over the phone on 0844 545 8282.

We do strongly advise all groups carry out their own Risk Assessment prior to their visit.

19. Visitors with disabilities

If any of your party are wheelchair users please call Southbank Centre directly to make your booking on 0844 875 0073, 7 days a week from 12pm until late (and from 11am on Friday to Sunday).

20. Is there disabled parking?

There are disabled parking bays in the car park at the rear of the festival site, and in the nearby National Theatre car park.

21. What about toilet facilities?

We have an accessible toilet available on our site.

22. Is there parking available?

There is a car park at the rear of the festival site, and nearby at the National Theatre.

23. Photography and filming

Photography and filming on site is only allowed for personal use. If you have any commercial or editorial photography or filming requests, please contact our press office to request accreditation in advance of arriving at:

All amateur photographer groups must also request photography accreditation in advance of arriving on site. We thank you for your co-operation.

24. Sustainability policy

Visitors are strongly encouraged to travel on foot, bike or by public transport.

Underbelly will provide suitable facilities for visitors, traders and operators to recycle their waste and all site waste will be sorted off site to divide out recyclable and non-recyclable materials. Power, lighting and water usage is minimised wherever possible.

Traders and operators will be encouraged to procure products from sustainable sources where possible and the vast majority of the Underbelly infrastructure is permanent or is re-used year after year.

Underbelly uses local staff and crew where possible and encourages traders and operators to do the same. 

25. Is there a buggy park at the venue?

Unfortunately, we have no secure buggy park at the venue.
